Hi, I’m Beverly Clyde, an 81-year-old widow, who enjoys traveling.  My life is not the life I wanted or expected; I miss my husband David very much. About a year after he died, I realized I still had a life to live and decided that I would like to live overseas. I am in reasonably good health for someone in their eighties.  My first overseas adventure was in Ireland.  I lived in Waterford, Ireland almost five months. I had a wonderful time and met many delightful people while enjoying fantastic adventures. 

I spent the last few months in an Independent Living apartment in Plano, Texas, but it is time to travel again.  My first stop in Europe will be Hungary where I will be on a church trip teaching in English Language Camps. I have done this before and am looking forward to it. After Hungary I will go to Aberdeen, Scotland for several months.  I am already planning to attend the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and go to the Highland games. After Scotland, I will go to Whitby, Yorkshire, England for a couple of weeks then its on to Ireland to revisit my friends and enjoy that wonderful country again.

About once a week I will write a blog about what I’ve been doing.  Hope you will read it and comment on it.
